Some of our favorite musicians are getting together and donating their talents in lively musical night that is also a fundraiser for beloved radio personality Kevin Vance. Recent health challenges combined with being a single dad who was already struggling to pay bills and hold on to his home, have created a financial strain for him.
In addition to attending this concert, supporters can contribute to Vance’s GoFundMe page at www.gofundme.com/ftba7frx.
Organized by KALW compatriot Dore Stein with aid from David Gans, tonight’s concert, benefit, and community spirit raiser for a good person features singer/songwriter Caren Armstrong, roots rock-country master Maurice Tani in a duo setting, the full quartet Blame Sally, fellow KPFA radio host and global didgeridoo master Stephen Kent, and Thompsonia, the new band of Eric and Suzy Thompson with daughter Allegra, doing songs from their acclaimed new album.
YOU WILL GET MAJOR BANG FOR YOUR BENEFIT BUCK AT THIS CONCERT!  COME DOWN AND SUPPORT A TRULY WORTHY MEMBER OF OUR COMMUNITY!
